Networking and VPN
VPN access
This section covers VPN creation in CloudStack and client setup for L2TP/IPsec with a pre-shared key, using the example TSDATA connection on Windows.
Before configuring your computer, confirm with the responsible team that VPN is enabled in your environment and that your user has access. Request the VPN server, pre-shared key, credentials and destination networks.
Create the VPN in the console
Enable the VPN and add a user →
Select the network's Source NAT IP, enable Remote Access VPN, retrieve the IP and shared secret and add a user in Manage VPN Users.
Configure your computer
The guide covers creating the connection, adjusting authentication and IPv4 settings, connecting to the environment and verifying access.
Console, VPN and private resources
- Cloud console: manage your environment at cloud.tsdata.com.br.
- VPN: network connection to the server provided for your environment.
- Private resources: machines and services reached at authorized internal addresses, subject to network routes and rules.
Console two-factor authentication is covered in the first sign-in guide. For the VPN, use the specific authentication method and credentials provided for the connection.
